Ermagherd, wasn't talking to Jay Heinrichs (minus the insanity of technological issues on our end) the coolest moment ever for us? We will forever be indebted to him for his text, his stellar writing style, and most importantly, the time and energy he took out of his busy day to answer our questions and chat us up about rhetoric in the real world. Now onto next week's prompt. Yes, yes, I know--your prompt for this week isn't even due until April 4th because Ms. Kovel is a kind woman, BUT I am posting this here for you to consider getting a head start.
Read the following document that Jay Heinrichs sent me. Once you have understood the situation at hand, your task is to comment on this post by detailing what you feel Jay's main argument is and what tactics he is currently using to get the result he wants. THEN, you are to list two to three potential additional tactics or creative ideas for Jay to consider using to further his attack on illegal downloads. Be sure to go to Jay's YouTube channel to check out the "Stealing Jay's Books" videos and share your favorites on social media sites to bring awareness.
P.S. I'm totally going to send Jay this link so he can perhaps take a look at your potential solutions/ideas.
Post due by April 11th at midnight.
